Records indicate that a produce show was started in October 1966 with Be-Ro Flour providing the prizes – in fact we still have the original Be-Ro recipe book which we look to for ideas for the ‘Given Recipe’ classes.

It appears that the show stopped but restarted in 1980 as a joint venture between the Bredhurst Women’s Institute and the Bredhurst Garden Club, and held its 25th anniversary celebrations in 2005.
